This is a great picture of groups coming together for the betterment of homeschooling and all the great opportunities and benefits it has to offer. I was invited to the HSLDA National Leaders Conference. I was able to join Michael Donnelly he is a homeschool dad, senior counsel, serves 7 states - including WV and the director of global outreach with HSLDA, Mike Farris Board Chairman of HSLDA, and chancellor emeritus of Patrick Henry College. He was the founder and president of each organization, and currently serves as the president and CEO of Alliance Defending Freedom. And John Carey who is a homeschool dad, and legislative liaison with CHEWV - Christian Home Educators of WV, and myself Kathie Hess Crouse, Homeschool mom, President and Legislative Liaison representing West Virginia Home Educators Association.
This is what your defenders of our homeschooling laws and rights do. We get together and make sure our rights and laws are solid and work together to make them stronger and better. It was a privilege to attend and look forward to the next one. I had 5 days of great leadership training, knowledge, fellowship, and mentoring. Looking forward to doing even more for the homeschool community in the future.
